Outhouse pictures on this site are displayed in the order they are received.  So, the newest picture is always first and the oldest last.  I thought I should mention this because you will see Teresa's outhouse again as you scroll through these pictures.  Teresa submitted her first picture, Christmas Outhouse, shortly after it was built.  In this, her most recent picture, the outhouse is decorated for Halloween.

Part of the joy of owning an outhouse is decorating it for the seasons.  The picture above was photographed using a flash to illuminate the decorations, but you can imagine the spooky feeling a small trick-or-treater would have coming upon this scene at night when the only light is from a small lamp in the foreground.  To a child the biggest thrill of Halloween is getting the dickens scared out of him or her.  And, by the way, the cat is real.
