Rich wrote that his outhouse was built from recycled materials.  The used materials give the outhouse a feeling of age and beauty that would not have been possible if Rich had used new materials.  The interior of the outhouse, shown in the second photograph, is astonishingly beautiful with hand-crafted walls, inlaid floor patterns, and gleaming surfaces.  Now, multiply that view by two because the two doors indicate the outhouse contains two compartments, one for men and the other for ladies.  I'll leave it up to you to figure out how he did it with entrances on adjacent walls.
