Williams Valley, OR
Marcus and Emily built this one-holer on some land they recently bought in Williams Valley in Southern Oregon. The "collection system" is an oil drum set in the ground. They also added decorative solar-charged LED lights with sensors that automatically turn them on at night. Emily is an artist, and she painted the inside of the outhouse and added a few words of wisdom on the wall. A Sharpie pen, attached to the wall by a string, is provided for people to "sign in."
This is the American Dream: A wonderful wife, a healthy baby, and a sturdy outhouse. What else could a man want?
